OG-EVKIN Argentina Rider Breaks Into Top 15 at 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships
The 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships roared into the volcanic landscapes of Nevados de Chillán, Chile, bringing together the fastest cross-country racers on the planet. Among the elite, the OG-EVKIN Argentina team carved out a remarkable result that echoed far beyond the Andean peaks.
Our dedicated rider powered through the brutal course to finish 15th overall in the world, and equally impressive, claimed the 4th position among all Argentine cyclists competing at the championship. In a race dominated by full-suspension prototypes and factory budgets, this performance stands as a milestone for independent, rider-driven engineering.

Hardtail Courage in a Full-Suspension World
While the entire top 20 field relied on complex full-suspension bikes, our athlete chose a different path: an OG-EVKIN hardtail mountain bike. That decision made him the only rider inside the top 20 to race on a rigid fork — a stunning testament to bike handling skill, course reading, and the pure efficiency of our frame design.
The Nevados de Chillán circuit is infamous for loose volcanic gravel, punchy climbs, and high-speed rock gardens. Choosing a hardtail here isn't just a style statement — it demands relentless power transfer and absolute precision.
OG-EVKIN Pride on the Global Stage
Finishing 4th among all Argentine riders at a World Championship is a huge honour. The performance not only elevates OG-EVKIN within the South American racing scene but also inspires the growing community of riders who believe in alternative bike philosophies.
From high-altitude preparation camps to the meticulous setup on race day, every element was dialled. The result — 15th in the world — proves that passion, resilience, and a purpose-built hardtail can disrupt the established order.

This historic ride in the Chilean Andes will be remembered as a defining moment for OG-EVKIN. We extend our deepest congratulations to our rider, the mechanics, and everyone who believed that a hardtail could shine on the world's biggest stage.
The journey continues — with the same spirit that placed an independent Argentina team inside the top 15 at the UCI World Championships. Follow our story as we keep pushing boundaries, one trail at a time.
